Terms of use and privacy
Short and plain, on purpose. If something here is unclear, the plain reading is the intended one.
HELIX is experimental software: a program on the Solana blockchain, and this website, which is one way to use it. The program runs on its own; the site builds transactions for you to review and sign. Using either means you accept these terms.
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Tokens on HELIX are created by anyone, and nobody reviews them before they trade. Their price can fall to zero. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- HELIX never holds your keys or your funds.
- Your wallet signs every transaction. Nothing moves without your signature.
- Nobody can reverse a transaction, recover a lost key, or move tokens on your behalf.
By using HELIX you accept, among others, these risks:
- The program may have bugs. It has not been audited.
- While the program has an upgrade authority, its code can change. See Security.
- A token with a custom hook can refuse transfers, sells included, or take a cut of them. Such tokens are marked; read the hook first.
- A token's own rules can lock some wallets until a set time.
- Transactions can fail or be delayed, prices can move between a quote and its execution, and RPC services can be unavailable.
The fees of a trade or a launch are shown before you sign, and every fee is listed on Fees. Solana's network fees and account rent are separate.
- You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including taxes, and for not using HELIX where it is not allowed.
- Don't launch tokens that impersonate someone, mislead buyers or infringe someone's rights. This site may stop showing such a token; the token itself stays on chain.
The software and the site are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, the people who build HELIX are not liable for losses from using it. These terms may change; this page will say when they last did.
- Public data. The site reads public data from the Solana blockchain through an RPC endpoint. The RPC provider sees the requests, and the IP address of requests your browser makes.
- Your wallet address. When you connect a wallet, the site uses its public address to show your balances and build your transactions. Opening your portfolio sends that address to the site's server, which reads the chain for it. The address is public on chain anyway.
- No tracking. HELIX sets no tracking or analytics cookies and runs no analytics scripts.
- Local storage. HELIX's own code stores one thing in your browser: which wallet you chose (
helix.wallet), so it can reconnect it. Disconnecting removes it. - Email sign-in, when it is enabled, is handled by Privy, which receives your email address, can create a wallet for you, and keeps its own session in your browser under its own privacy policy.
- The hosting provider may keep standard request logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the service.
- HELIX has no user accounts of its own and doesn't sell data.
